Our Story

Built to be indestructible

Vajra takes its name from the Sanskrit word for indestructible strength — a diamond-hard resolve. It is the standard we hold every space we craft to.

The Atelier

Interiors drawn around
the way you live

Vajra Atelier is a bespoke interiors studio crafting modular kitchens, wardrobes and living spaces from our home in Kokapet, Narsingi, Telangana.

We believe a truly great interior is never finished — it simply reaches a moment where every detail has earned its place, and nothing more needs to be said. That conviction shapes how we design, how we build, and how we measure our own work.

Every space leaves our workshop precision-engineered to last decades, not trends — joinery that holds, finishes that age with grace, and proportions drawn to make a room feel larger, lighter and quietly alive.

"Rupa Katrepally brings together strategic thinking, operational expertise, and a deep passion for design. With a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, she began her professional journey in a completely different domain before discovering her true calling in interior design — a field that allowed her to blend creativity, functionality, and people-centric thinking. Driven by her passion for transforming spaces, Rupa founded The Fourth Wall, a design studio focused on residential and commercial interiors. Over the years, she has built a reputation for creating spaces that are elegant, practical, and deeply personalized, with a strong emphasis on detail, seamless execution, and client experience."

Her expertise lies in understanding how people interact with spaces and translating those insights into thoughtful, functional, and aesthetically refined interiors. With a keen eye for design and strong process-oriented management skills, she believes great interiors are not just visually appealing, but also intuitive, efficient, and timeless.

As the brand expands into the steel modular segment, Rupa continues to explore innovative and future-ready interior solutions that combine durability, sophistication, and modern living requirements. At Vajra Atelier, Rupa brings a balanced approach that merges creativity with structure, ensuring every project reflects refined aesthetics, purposeful design, and uncompromising quality.

Our Journey
2013

A workshop in Telangana

Vajra begins as a small joinery workshop with a handful of craftsmen and an obsession with getting the details right.

2016

The first modular kitchens

We move into fully modular design, pairing traditional craftsmanship with precision hardware and engineered materials.

2019

The Telangana showroom opens

A dedicated experience space lets clients see, touch and understand finishes before they ever commit.

2022

Expanding to Bengaluru

A second studio opens in Jaipur, bringing the Vajra standard to clients across Rajasthan.

Today

850 spaces and counting

From kitchens to complete homes, every Vajra project still passes through the same hands and the same standard it began with.

For Vajra Atelier, a brand rooted in modular steel kitchens and storage solutions, the Rhino becomes a powerful metaphor for strength, durability, and unwavering reliability. Known for its tough exterior and grounded presence, the Rhino represents steel in its truest form - resilient, dependable, and built to last. This symbolism reflects Vajra Atelier's promise of kitchens and storage systems that stand strong through time, usage, and everyday life.

What Guides Us

The principles behind every project

Four commitments that hold true whether the project is a single wardrobe or an entire home.

01

Craft Without Compromise

No MDF shortcuts, no hidden substitutions. Engineered materials and certified hardware, every time.

02

Designed Around You

Every layout starts with how a family actually lives, cooks and gathers — never a template.

03

Built to Last Decades

We engineer for the long arc — joinery and finishes that hold their integrity for years, not seasons.

04

Honest, Start to Finish

Transparent timelines, clear pricing and a team that stays accountable well past installation.
